Athena NGFW (previously known as Network Secure) provides comprehensive protection for every network perimeter, ensuring the safety of your valuable assets, data, and users from emerging threats.
1. vNGFW deployed on VMware supports both online and offline platform authorization, but does not support multi-cloud platform authorization.
2. vNGFW deployed on VMware is licensed based on the number of CPU cores. Initially, unlicensed VMs can only boot with 2 cores /4G RAM configuration.
After booting, apply for and import the license based on the device information file. For example, if you apply for an 8 cores license, you need to shut down the VM, modify the configuration to 8 cores /16G RAM, and then boot it up.
After authorization, you can modify the hardware configuration to a lower value than 8 cores, but not to a higher value; otherwise, the vNGFW will automatically shut down after booting.
3. CPU licensing supports four specifications: 2 cores, 4 cores, 8 cores, and 16 cores. The CPU to memory ratio must be 1:2, meaning your memory should be twice the number of CPU cores.
4. The OVA image supports ESXI 6.5, ESXI 6.7, and ESXI 7.0.
